Welcome to www.strines.org.uk - the website of Strines Area Residents' Association.
Strines is a rural Cheshire village in the UK on the border with High Peak in Derbyshire. It is surrounded by beautiful countryside and lies in the picturesque Goyt Valley. We are located between Marple (Cheshire) and New Mills (Derbyshire).
For those of you who don't know the area, head for the 'About Strines' section to discover the many interesting things we have to do and see in and around the village. For those of you who do know the area or live locally, check out the 'News' and 'Diary' sections to find out what's going on.
Please don't forget to browse the 'About S.A.R.A' section to see what issues the Association are tackling and find out how you can help.
This site aims to keep you up to date with all the latest news from the Strines area and provide a forum for discussion on village issues.
Drop in to the 'Village Café' Forum for a chat with friends, or feel free to use our 'Commercial Forum' to promote a business or other commercial venture.
We hope you enjoy this site and would welcome suggestions -
it will be updated on a regular basis, so please visit again soon.
