Just a quick Thank You to all of you who came to the Community Carol Service and Quiz at The Sportsmans Arms last week. It was a lovely night and well attended (But we missed those of you who couldnt come x)

By the way........Im sure most of you will know by now that the Royal Oak has changed hands and Local Couple Bill and Ellen Brophy have taken over. I hope you will take the time to call in and say hello sometime and..... congrats to Ellen for winning the Marple Food Festival Pie contest earlier this year. Was well deserved that pie is to die for mmmm.
I would like to thank those of you who have sent me good wishes during my illness, Im sorry ive neglected the site and although im not out of the woods yet, Im hoping to be up and at em again real soon (Run for the hills whilst you still can lol) But work hasnt stopped as we have a great team of people who have been beavering away on the community land and projects so a big thank you to all of them too x
I would like to wish you all a wonderful Christmas and hope to be seeing you all soon. We have some updates to come soon re the development and will be holding a AGM for the recreation ground in the new year.
During the Holiday period dont forget to take a walk down and have a look at the millponds and new dovecote it looks stunning at the moment and its worth having a look at the Pavilion at the recreation ground as Melvins been working really hard to make it wonderful... And it is! Also if your gonna go out for a drink or a meal over Christmas .. dont forget the Local Pubs. Weve sadly lost our post office so lets make sure we support our local businesses when we can x
